With a passion for working with hands and turning a tree into a work of art, we take great pride in the level of detail and finish that we use. We bring a vast knowledge and education of wood varietals, methods, incredible workmanship and skill to every project. Whether it’s for your home or a commercial space - we offer custom work from furniture, to fixtures and construction elements such as countertops, flooring and shelves. We can use your wood or ours. We also are the “farm to table” of furniture - we cut, mill, dry and build in-house. Our goal is to create work that people are proud of and talk about, that is quality built to last for generations - we want our projects to make an impact on the people that hire us.

MEET THE MAKER
Jon McDow. Born near the North Carolina mountains and growing up working with his hands and learning to mill wood among many other jobs around neighboring farms - this Carolina native made his way to the coast for college. With his creative eye, attention to detail, and a heart for helping others - Jon tends to make friends, not just clients. Working with wood brings with it the chance to learn many stories - that of the tree and where it came from, as he cuts through it he may discover some of its history. Then there is also the story of those that hire him - who they are, what they’re looking for, and sometimes the story behind the piece they’re wanting him to build. There is also an incredible discovery that comes with working with wood from a tree down to a finished product, as it slowly reveals more of itself with each step.
